RGBSI Sponsors WSU's Night of the Stars

October 30, 2014 — RGBSI recently sponsored Wayne State University College of Engineering’s signature event Night of the Stars, an event which honors alumni and friends for their outstanding professional achievements and service while raising money to fund the College of Engineering's student initiatives.

The event took place at The Henry in Dearborn on Saturday, October 25 and honored Distinguished Alumni Kenneth P. Kaufman (Dow Corning) and David R. McLellan (General Motors), who were inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame. Elizabeth Krear (Chrysler) and Edwin Tatem (Parsons Brinckerhoff) each received the Outstanding Industry Achievement Award. RGBSI's President and CEO Dr. Nanua Singh was recognized by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Farshad Fotouhi, for his recent Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist award.

Night of the Stars raises money to fund student initiatives at the College of Engineering. These initiatives include scholarships for undergraduate research, study abroad and student organizations and national/international team competitions.
