Client Challenge

The client needed to design exterior mirrors that meet truck manufacturing requirements. The mirror assembly included a base, arm, and mirror head that required configuration from reference drawings, physical parts, and snaps. As part of the design work, a field of vision (FOV) study needed to be performed on various trucks to satisfy FMVSS and NYC standards.
